Monash University

Theme: Providing foundations for high performance

The Schools Access Monash (SAM) program at Monash University targets schools with significant numbers of students from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds and low rates of progression to tertiary study. The program provides a range of activities to increase students' awareness of university study opportunities and to help them reach their academic potential.

As a Monash Graduate, Christopher Shen was a regular contributor to the SAM program between 2007 and 2010. He delivered interactive, fun, and activity based presentations on the theme: "Inspirational and Passionate High Performance." Christopher shared his principles, life lessons and tips for the students to reach and maintain the best results for their school studies and beyond.

The SAM program is seen by Monash University as an instrumental program, changing the culture of the participating schools and providing motivation and encouragement to the students to help them realise their full potential.
